These recorded sessions place less emphasis on intellectual learning and more on direct experience, inviting you into a sustained, embodied exploration of practice that unfolds and gradually deepens.
The theme of Mastering Simplicity reflects the way yoga practice naturally matures. Over time, we begin to circle back to a small number of essential practices that offer immediate, potent, and meaningful benefits. As this happens, what is no longer necessary quietly falls away, and what truly supports our wellbeing comes into clearer focus.
Our sessions centre on “seed” asana, somatic exploration, restorative practice, and breathing techniques — approaches that can be subtly varied and intelligently adapted. Intuitive sequencing is used to craft practice sessions that are enjoyable, calming, and deeply regenerating, supporting both nourishment and clarity.
All Mastering Simplicity sessions are recorded and available for individual purchase or by subscription, giving you a consistent, coherent and progressive learning experience.
Each session includes a 90-minute guided practice, followed by 30 minutes of questions, reflection, and community exchange.
The Mastering Simplicity sessions reflect how yoga was once taught, with teacher and student meeting each other with openness and inquisitiveness about what might arise. Because Donna wishes to teach from what is most current within her practice, there won’t be a detailed description of each monthly class. This is deliberate so that we can enter each class without preconceived expectations and receive fresh awareness. This is an invitation to explore and discover new experiences from often familiar practices.
These classes will be less about intellectual learning and more about direct experiencing with room for you to ask questions and share perceptions during the class. The theme of mastering simplicity reflects that as our yoga practice matures, we begin to circle around key practices that offer us immediate, potent and important benefits. Practices that have become superfluous fade into the background as those that are central to our wellbeing come into focus. We will focus on “seed” asana, somatic, Restorative and breathing practices that can be subtly varied as well as using intuitive sequencing to craft an enjoyable, calming and regenerating practice session.
Recommended Props


There was a certain degree of spontaneity as the monthly sessions evolved. Across the 21 sessions, these recommended props will be used regularly.
• Yoga mat
• 2-3 yoga blankets
• 1 yoga bolster (if you have one)
• Yoga belt and block
• Bath towel and hand towel with 3 rubber bands
• Small Gertie Ball or Muscle Release Ball (19-23 cm size is ideal) (see an example ball here)
• A yoga chair or dining room chair with sturdy legs.


As there is a certain degree of spontaneity to these monthly sessions Donna will not always know which props you’ll need for each class. For this reason, please have on hand:

Each supplement will include suggestions for bringing yogic mindfulness into the kitchen as well as gardening tips for those of you wanting to begin or expand your food growing skills.
