Welcome to the 2022 Livestream Classes presented by Donna and two of her senior associates, Neal Ghoshal and Lisa Petersen. About this class:

The spine is the most fundamental support structure in the body. It acts as a trellis maintaining our upright integrity. We orient ourselves physically and psychologically around its central axis. Picture a tribal woman carrying a heavy water jar on her head. To do this, she has to have strong postural muscles, a clear relationship to gravity and space, anda strong yet responsive spine.

This class investigates how your bones ‘talk’ to one another. We will move through forward bending, side bending, back-bending and twisting as active ways of refining spinal relationships and supporting ease and integrity in asana.

• Explore the balance between mobility and stability.

• Refine the structural support your spine offers your whole being.

• Examine how bones dance with your breath and the forces of gravity travelling through them.

• Learn how to create a more conscious conversation and feel a whole new body unfold in your awareness.

Come move, play and explore. This class includes movement inquiry, embodied anatomy, developmental movement, yoga asana, somatics, breathwork, and guided relaxation.
