What are the benefits of joining these two sessions?

Part 1:
Is it time for yoga’s version of Fair Trade? Where yoga teachers are free from exploitative wages and practices. Where your time is respected in the same way we honour the time and exertions of other people, in other professions?

As the daughter of a first-generation immigrant father (and the first in his family to get higher education), I have a strong sense of justice and my feisty nature has served me well in forging a successful and prosperous yoga career. I learned early on that I had to own my value and fight for fair remuneration. I’d like to help other teachers navigate this oftentimes treacherous territory. While there are no easy answers, knowledge is power and the beginning of taking back control of your work life.

The purpose of the first session is help you to approach your money dealings with greater awareness, confidence, and savvy by sharing some staggering facts from the yoga marketplace that will dispel myths and shine light on bias and unconscious money belief systems.

We'll finish with eleven solid strategies to help you stabilise tenuous finances and feel more confident in financial transactions with others.

Part 2:
Together, we'll dig deep into any of your questions arising from Part 1 and your review of the contract or any related question, and discuss them as a group.

You can pre-submit a question any time before midday on November 29th NZT. This will give Donna time to consider and curate the questions into a logical order and to provide the best information and resources.

Attending the Q & A will give you an opportunity to share with other like-minded yoga teachers. Be prepared for an exciting, informative session.

Replays
Both sessions will be recorded and you can access them for 90 days after the Q&A session.

Bonus Resources
All registrants will have access to these free downloads:

  1.  A template of my current teaching contract that you can edit for your own purposes.
  2.  A list of all references found and used in this seminar.
  3. A summary of the main strategies.
