Donna Farhi supine on mat
Offer up every joy,
be awake at all moments to the news
that is always arriving
out of silence.
 ~ Rainer Maria Rilke

The Mastering Simplicity series reflects how yoga was once taught, with teacher and student meeting each other with openness and inquisitiveness about what might arise.  Because Donna wishes to teach from what is most current within her practice, there won’t be a detailed description of each monthly class.  This is deliberate so that we can enter each class without preconceived expectations and receive fresh awareness. This is an invitation to explore and discover new experiences from often familiar practices.

These classes will be less about intellectual learning and more about direct experiencing with room for you to ask questions and share perceptions at the end of each class or inside our private community online space, Connect.

The theme of mastering simplicity reflects that as our yoga practice matures, we begin to circle around key practices that offer us immediate, potent and important benefits. Practices that have become superfluous fade into the background as those that are central to our well-being come into focus.

We will focus on “seed” asana, somatic, Restorative and breathing practices that can be subtly varied as well as using intuitive sequencing to craft an enjoyable, calming and regenerating practice session.

The classes are offered monthly and will consist of a 2-hour livestream class: 1.5 hours of guided practice followed by 30 minutes for questions, reflections, and community connection.

Once the class has been created and released, we will retro-actively create a more detailed description and share that with you.

Subscriber Bonuses

Bonus One: A Private Online Community

Donna will be making time to engage with your questions, observations, and contributions as well as your challenges inside this private online community.  It's open to subscribers of this offer and participants of our premium courses.  It’s free and it’s where you can find collegial connections in a safe space.

Bonus Two: Monthly Teacher’s Class Plan

If you’re a yoga teacher, you’ve probably had the experience of trying to take notes and sketch stick figures to capture all the elements of a yoga class. Retrieving this information from a video can be even more time consuming.

Now, with each monthly Mastering Simplicity class you’ll receive a written class plan. For yoga teachers this can save hours of time and make the translation into a class plan as easy as pressing the Print button.

We also know that many of you prefer to practice without the distraction of digital devices. Once you are familiar with a class, you can use the written plan as a simple reminder of the order, content and variations included in that class.

It’s easy and it’s part of your Mastering Simplicity subscription.
