Mastering Simplicity

Deepen Your Practice, Sustain Your Teaching.

Introduction to this Series

These classes invite you into a journey of transformation where practice shifts from doing more to discovering what truly matters. Rather than filling your time with endless techniques, you’ll be guided toward the simplicity of practices that restore clarity, vitality, and calm.

As you take part in this ongoing series, you may notice how superfluous yoga postures naturally fall away, while a handful of essential practices rise to the surface as steady companions in your life. These become trusted launch-pads for balance and resilience, both on and off the mat. Each new class builds upon what has come before, supporting you in steadily deepening your understanding and weaving the benefits into daily life.

Together we will explore foundational (‘seed’) asana, somatic explorations, Restorative postures, and breathing practices—each one adaptable, nourishing, and designed to help you craft a practice that feels regenerative and sustaining. You’re also able to share questions and insights with Donna and your peers in our private online community, Connect, deepening not only your practice but also your sense of belonging.

Over time, the continuing flow of monthly classes becomes a rhythm of renewal—providing fresh inspiration, space for reflection, and an ever-growing library of resources you can return to whenever you need grounding or uplifting. By committing to this subscription, you invest not just in a single course but in a living, evolving practice that continues to support you.

By the end of the series, you will carry with you a practice that is simpler yet more profound, one that can steady your body, calm your mind, and renew your spirit.

Link to Vibram shoes

This is the original company that makes the FiveFinger shoes with Vibram soles. I recommend the V-Run as it has added support in the sole. It is usually recommended to buy a size larger than your normal shoe. This is especially important if your second toe is longer than your big toe. I don’t recommend the ones with Velcro closures as the Velcro can catch on wider yoga pants, damaging the material. They are developing new lines all the time. The KMD EVO Women’s shoe looks to have even more arch and sole support than the other models.
