Physical Focus: Releasing the feet, using the feet in standing postures
What’s Inside: This class could be considered “Part Two” to Class #4. We shift our focus from the ball of the foot to the front of the foot and ankle. The class begins on the floor with a series of seated postures that extend and open the front of the foot and leg. We progress to a standing warm-up sequence followed by standing postures with the emphasis on initiating each posture from the yield and push of the foot.
Key Focus: Through keeping our feet healthy we can initiate a kinetic chain of force from the feet to the legs, pelvis and spine and utilize this in all our everyday activities.
