Mastering Simplicity Class #20: Strengthening and Balancing the Feet – Standing Postures and Balancing Challenges

$30.00

The Mastering Simplicity sessions reflect how yoga was once taught, with teacher and student meeting each other with openness and inquisitiveness about what might arise.  Because Donna wishes to teach from what is most current within her practice, there won’t be a detailed description of each monthly class until after it has been broadcast.  This is deliberate so that we can enter each class without preconceived expectations and receive fresh awareness.  This is an invitation to explore and discover new experiences from often familiar practices.

The classes are offered monthly and will consist of a 2- hour livestream class. 1.5 hours of guided practice followed by 30 minutes for questions, reflections, and community connection.

This class was recorded in September 2025.

Recordings will be available for 30 days unless you get access through the three month or 12 month subscription options, where there are more benefits that you can learn about here.

See the description below for more details.

Theme: Strengthening and Balancing the Feet

Physical Focus: Standing Postures and Balancing Challenges

What’s Inside: Ingenious foot exercises to restore balance and mobility to the feet with the aim to improving balance both on and off the mat.

Key Focus: We age from the feet up and when we feel restriction, discomfort and imbalance in our feet, it affects the kinetic chain all the way up the body.  Through giving your feet a little extra TLC, you can immediately feel the difference in better balance, ease of walking, and even improvement of common conditions such as bunions.  Many of these simple foot exercises can be incorporated into a yoga class, making them super adaptable for teachers with students both young and old.
