Alive, engaged, dynamic. And transforming

Next online course begins May 4th, 2022 (NZT)

The Art of Teaching is the most superb, refined, and distilled learning I have ever had the good fortune to attend.” – Victoria Pomeroy, Owner/Teacher- Flow Hot Yoga, Christchurch

The Art of Teaching has been truly transformative on every level, both personally and professionally. It somehow encompasses a vast body of knowledge and understanding in an impressively succinct and accessible way. The course brings inspiration and freshness to all areas of personal and professional practice, as well as a vital and timely reminder of what it truly means to be a teacher and practitioner of this ancient healing art. I loved every minute of it.” – Saraseva Sawyer, Self Realization Sevalight Center, Christchurch

Many times, after one of my intensive classes, a teacher has told me that they didn’t think they could go back to teaching yoga the way that they had before.

It was a watershed moment for them. And for me.

The Art of Teaching program is the result. It’s the distillation of my 45 years’ experience and, importantly, listening to and learning from teachers around the globe.

The Art of Teaching is not for every yoga teacher. But it is for everyone from whatever method or style who yearns for the support they need to offer their students powerful and transformative learning experiences. Along with the processes and techniques for them to forge enduringly successful and deeply satisfying careers.

At its heart is the knowledge and strength to help anchor teachers in their practice, to nurture and grow themselves as individuals and to guide students to self-sovereignty. It also acknowledges and embraces some of the toughest challenges for teachers; how to maintain the delicate balance between generously sharing wisdom and being sustainable, how to create a safe and collegiate environment, how to trust their own perception and how to welcome the incredible gift of “intelligent not-knowing”.

Conducted over 7 months and 14 sessions, the next The Art of Teaching begins on May 4th 2022. Watch the classes at a time and pace that suits you, and take advantage of opportunities for live engagement, discussion and question and answer sessions, at the one of two Support Webinars held every Wednesday fortnight (NZ) to give options for different time zones.
